The general global settings of Star Rating define how the plugin behaves across your Moodle site.
You can find these settings under Site administration > Plugins > Filters > Star Rating.
Available settings
Number of stars
Defines the maximum number of stars that can be selected for a rating. This setting affects all existing and future ratings, as well as the data shown in the report. The maximum number of supported stars is 25.
Trigger values
Define star values, separated by commas, that automatically open the comment form when selected by a user. For example, entering 1,2 will prompt users to leave a comment when they select one or two stars.
