The Video Time activity allows educators to embed and track video content within a Moodle course. It can be added to any course section, just like standard Moodle modules.

Each Video Time activity comes with

  • Settings – Control how the video is presented, tracked, and configure common activity settings.

  • Embed Options – Define how the video player appears and how the user can interact with it.

  • Report – View detailed learner engagement and video interaction data.

  • Video player – Depending on which media file is linked, the Vimeo player or the VideoJS player is used.

Note: You can instantly create a Video Time activity by dragging and dropping a media file directly into your course.
