Hero activity settings in activities with Designer

Show an activity as a tab in the secondary navigation and control its order so users can jump straight to key content.

When you select the Designer format, each activity gets additional hero activity settings. The hero activity allows you to display an activity in the secondary navigation as a clickable link that takes users directly to it.

Available settings

  • Show as tab

    • Disabled – The activity is not displayed in the secondary menu.

    • Everywhere – The activity is displayed in the secondary menu on the main course page and all subpages.

    • Only on course main page – The activity is displayed in the secondary menu only on the course main page.

  • Order

    Define the position of the activity in the secondary menu.

    • Position 0 is always the course itself.

    • With a negative number from –1 to –10, you can place the activity before the course tab.

    • With a positive number from 1 to 10, you can place it after the course tab.

Note: In the activity’s design settings, you can configure the title that is displayed for the activity in the secondary menu.
