Global chapter settings in Content Designer

Define default visibility, titles, completion modes, and learning tools for chapters in new Content Designer activities.

Overview

You can configure global defaults for chapters in Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules > Content Designer > Chapter. These settings apply only to new Content Designer activities and are not retroactively applied to existing ones.

Available settings

  • Visibility – Show or hide chapters by default.

  • Display title – Show the chapter title to learners.

  • Completion mode – Set chapters to complete manually or automatically when the next one appears.

  • Learning tools – Enable learning tools for chapters.
