After installing Star Rating and completing the initial configuration, you can start adding ratings in your Moodle site.
How to add your first Star Rating
Add the short codes [rating] or [ratingcomment] to an activity, or example in the activity description. Once these shortcodes are in place, students can rate the activity directly.
You can view submitted ratings in the report. Depending on your use case, you can also add other shortcodes or use different shortcode combinations.
Note: Ratings can also be added in the course or user context, not only in individual activities.
